Does Nessus support the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL) repository?

pitrepan Novice

There is a popular community-driven repository known as EPEL. I could like to know if Nessus supports this repository. For example, let's say I install package XYZ on my CentOS 7 box, from the EPEL repository since package XYZ isn't available on the official CentOS repositories. Package XYZ is at a known vulnerable version, and an update is already available on EPEL (although it isn't installed on my CentOS 7 box). Will a Nessus scan flag the package as being vulnerable / out of date? From my limited understanding of Nessus I would say no, but I'd like to be wrong.

Thanks in advance!
